Our Mission
Love The Childs Mission Statement

Our Vision is to develop high quality full-time child-care facilities, family support programs, healthcare and health promotion activities.

We address the acute needs of the children, as well as chronic causes of their distress. This means to identify, evaluate and provide proper help to children at risk in Guatemala, AND to identify the social, economic and legal dysfunctions causing these risks. For example, the family is the perfect God ordained enviornmnet for children. Functioning families are vital for a society and the children. The dissolution of families is the first step in the ruination of many lives. Health care and education are key factors in maintaing functioning families. We will concentrate on group home care facilities, but will collaborate with others to provide children with the best possible enviornments, in the folowing order.

1) Facilitate family support programs: health, education, and spiritual foundations
2) Single mother support programs: encourage day-care, health care and jobs accessibility.
3) Seek and train alternative families, both permanent and high qualtiy foster care.
4) Establish high quality group home facilities for children with no other option.

We provide comprehensive care and developmental support for abandoned, orphaned, abused and disabled children. We seek to enable these children to develop into healthy and complete image bearers of God who know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and who will have a positive effect on their culture and their world.
